Meet the Dallas Team Behind Woolsey Insulation Dallas
Attics in Dallas punish crews that cut corners. We hit 103 degrees in July, and by 2 p.m. the underside of a roof deck can read north of 140. The people we send into those spaces have to be methodical, honest, and tough enough to work carefully when it’s miserable. That’s the crew we’ve built here. Glenn Hartley leads a small team of installers and coordinators who have insulated thousands of Dallas homes since 2002. They’re not temps. They’re not subcontractors pulled off a list. They’re uniformed, background-checked, and trained to leave your house cleaner than they found it.
Our People
Glenn Hartley, Owner
Glenn has spent over two decades running insulation jobs across Dallas, and he still walks attics when a project gets complicated. He started with Woolsey in 2002, right around the time the brand was founded, and he’s the person who signs off on your written guarantee before it reaches your hands. His specialty is honest material selection: whether a 1960s ranch in Casa View needs blown fiberglass or a new build in Frisco should get closed-cell spray foam, Glenn will tell you what fits the house, not what’s easiest to sell. When he’s not up a ladder, he’s usually keeping an eye on the Rangers score or arguing about which taquería on Maple Avenue does al pastor right.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Woolsey Insulation Dallas for eleven years and has insulated more than 1,400 attics, by his own loose count. He holds our spray foam certification and runs the closed-cell and open-cell applications for most of the larger residential jobs we handle. Marcus can read an attic in about ten minutes: he’ll point out baffles that were never installed right, duct runs that are losing air, and venting that’s been painted shut for a decade. He’s the quietest guy on the crew until you ask him about old-school Country and Western, and then good luck getting him back to the truck.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana built her reputation on details. She’s our lead on air-sealing work, which matters more than most homeowners realize: a can light here, a top plate gap there, and you’re paying to cool air that escapes before it ever reaches a room. She’s been with the team for eight years and also handles most of our Owens Corning and Johns Manville batt and blown-in installs. Dana grew up in Oak Cliff and still takes the long way home through Kessler Park when traffic’s bad. She’s the person you want explaining what an R-value actually does, because she’ll do it without a hint of jargon.
Priya S., Service Coordinator
Priya is the first voice you hear when you call (469) 916-4622, and she’s the reason nobody at Woolsey Insulation Dallas gets a voicemail. She has worked dispatch and scheduling for Dallas home service crews since 2010 and knows the difference between an insulation emergency and a job that can wait for Thursday. Priya holds down the schedule, confirms arrival windows, and keeps the written pricing documents moving before any technician ever rings your doorbell. Her human detail is that she keeps a small army of plants alive in an apartment that faces west, which she says taught her more about heat and shade than any training video.
James L., Apprentice Installer
James joined us in 2023 and has spent most of his months here learning the craft the old-fashioned way: shadowing Marcus and Dana on real jobs, hauling material, and getting quizzed on venting code during lunch. He grew up in Garland and earned his high school diploma while working construction cleanup shifts, which is where he decided he wanted a trade that actually changes how a house feels. James currently handles prep and cleanup on most installs, and he’s earning his way toward running his own truck. Ask him about high school football and you’ll find out he still thinks Garland’s 2020 playoff run was underrated.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Woolsey location is independently owned and operated under the Kingswell banner, and in Dallas the standard is set by the people above. The Kingswell Way runs through everything we do: say the price, show up in the window, leave it cleaner than you found it, put the guarantee in writing, come back if it fails. Glenn enforces that on every job. It means a written price before any work begins, no exceptions. It means a committed arrival window that Priya confirms by phone. It means technicians in uniform with verified identity. And it means the 365-Day Done Right Promise follows every install: if something isn’t right within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. The crew listed here is the reason that promise has held up in Dallas for over two decades.
Why the Crew Matters
Insulation is a trade where the installer’s judgment determines whether the product works. Spray foam applied at the wrong temperature or thickness won’t cure properly. Batt insulation squeezed into a cavity loses its R-value. Air sealing done carelessly leaves gaps you’ll feel in August. That’s why we hire slowly, train constantly, and don’t rush people into attics without a senior installer reviewing the job first. When you schedule with Woolsey Insulation Dallas, you get a named technician, a written price, and a guarantee backed by people who answer the phone. That’s the whole point of a local crew.
Who You’ll Talk To When You Call
Assuming you call during business hours, Priya answers. Tell her what’s going on in your house: high electric bills, hot upstairs rooms, chilly floors in January. She’ll help you figure out whether attic insulation or spray foam is the right conversation to have, and she’ll get an estimate on the schedule. If you call at 10 p.m., you still get a live person, because our phones are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No automated maze, no call-back window, just a human who can help. Call (469) 916-4622 and you’ll see what we mean.
